Martin Company incurred the following costs for 70,000 units of
produced and sold:
Variable costs $420,000
Fixed costs 392,000
Martin has received a special order from a foreign company for 3,000 units. There is sufficient capacity (at the current fixed costs of $392,000) to fill the order without jeopardizing regular sales of 70,000 units. Filling the order will require spending an additional $6,300 for shipping.
If Martin wants to break even on the special order from the foreign company, what should the unit sales price be?
(b)
If Martin wants to earn $6,000 on the order, what should the unit
price be? Explain how you arrive at the answer?
(c)
If Martin Company anticipates that regular sales will be affected
by the acceptance of a special order. Should the company accept or
reject the special order and explain with reference to each option?
The number of words should not exceed 100 words and include a word
count.

Computer Dynamics (p. 175 of your textbook) is a microcomputer software development company that has a 300-computer network. The company is located in three adjacent five-story buildings in an office park, with about 100 computers in each building. The LANs in each building are similar, but one building has the data center on the second floor. There are no other office locations. The current network is poorly designed for its current needs and must be completely replaced.
1. Develop a logical design for this enterprise campus that considers the seven network architecture components. There are no other campuses, so you can omit WAN access.
2. Document the assumptions you made in approaching this design.
3. Explain why you have designed the network in this way. Make sure your answers are numbered based on the question presented. Submit as a Microsoft Word document to the correct dropbox by the due date and time posted on the D2L course calendar.

Conduct a test of hypothesis to determine if your person #3 has
a lower
average time to unscramble 5-letter words than 7-letter words.
Note... this question was asked previously but with out the instruction... when it came back to me, there was no way to edit. So I'm hoping not to be charged a question in this venue. Thanks.

The textbook presents a very simple, linear scheme of the central dogma of molecular biology (text page 500), but is explicit in noting the simplicity of the original concept and exceptions to it. Which of the following would NOT be reasonable additions or modifications that could be made to this simple linear scheme to account for experimental data?

| The arrow between DNA and RNA could be reversible. |
| The word "protein" should be made plural (i.e., "proteins"). |
| The scheme could be made circular by adding an arrow connecting "protein" to "DNA replication." |
|
RNA can be used to generate RNA-based enzymes (ribozymes), so "protein" at the end of the scheme should be changed to "protein/RNA." The answer is not b |

Question: (if it needs to count as more than one question it is okay, I just have a lot of classes and need help with this so I can do other homework :).
Conduct an analysis and hypothesis test of your choice on the data you collected. Write a 250-500 word research summary of the findings generated in the assignments for Topics 2 through 5. The research summary should address the following.
Explain what type of analysis and hypothesis test was conducted on the data collected.
Summarize the survey results based on the results of the data you analyzed.
Include the Excel analysis as part of the document.

Think of something that government does. It can be anything - from requiring nutrition label requirements on food products to sending troops to provide peace-keeping in other countries. In 2018, a cold front in Barbados increased both the demand for water heaters and gasolines. The usage of gasoline was 581 tonnes, an increase from 499 tonnes in the previous year. The Petroleum Company of Barbados advised Government officials that demand could outweigh supply and asked companies to increase the supply. They also asked major gasoline users, such as power plants, to reduce demand.
i. Illustrate the effect of the cold front on the demand for gasoline using a demand curve diagram over the two years. [5 marks]
ii. Assuming the Petroleum Company of Barbados did not issue a directive for an increase in supply and a decrease in demand, explain the problem that would exist in the economy and how would this be corrected over time. [3 marks]
iii. Illustrate the effect of major gasoline suppliers increasing supply as well as users reducing their demand. [5 marks]

In her book, What Great Brands Do, Denise Yohn describes seven brand building principles that power great brands.
In a paper no longer than 8 pages describe how each principle applies to a company where you have worked OR (if you are not employed) a company you wish to work for in the future. Talk about how the company has used the principles (if that is true) and how they can/should use (or not use) the principles in the future. It’s alright to say they haven’t used the principle and you don’t think they need to use it going forward, but you need to explain your reasoning for stating that. You need to be very specific as to what you are suggesting. Saying “they need to carry out this principle by increasing their advertising” is not sufficient. You need to talk specifically about what type of advertising and why and what the message should be to accomplish the objective.
The paper should be a MS Word document 5-8 double-spaced pages
