CAN THIS BE COMMUNICATED MORE EFFECTIVELY, IF SO HOW?

I am contracted to work part time Monday 8 hours, Friday 8 hours and Thursday 4 hours. For the benefit of the organization I would like to vary this in October as follows:
I will be working 8 hours on Thursday 1st October instead of 4 hours. I will also be working 4 hours on Wednesday 7th October, a day I would not normally work and 8 hours on October 8th, when I should work 4 hours. I would like to request that I swop these hours for not working 4 hours on Thursday 22nd and Fridays 23rd and 30th October respectively..
