Johanna and Ryan Younan 1.Johanna and Ryan Younan just put their two boys (grades 6 and 2) on their respective school buses for the first day of school and realized that they are growing up fast. As their financial planner, Johanna and Ryan called you and stated that they wanted to save, starting today, at the beginning of every month for the next six years (until the older child goes to college) to pay for one-half of school expenses for both children. You know that tuition, room, and board this year cost $18,000 at their selected school, and you expect 5 percent effective annual inflation for education expenses. Johanna and Ryan also said that they know the children’s grandparents are going to make a gift of $48,000 toward this cause in exactly three years. Assume that both children attend the same college for four years each. Also assume that the annual tuition bill is due at the beginning of each academic year, and the first payment is exactly seventy two months away. How much money will Johanna and Ryan need to invest on a monthly basis to meet their education goal assuming a required effective annual rate of 10.471 percent (10 percent APR with monthly compounding)?

Regular expressions are used in Python for describing and identifying specific patterns. In Python, we use “re” or “Regex” to denote regular expressions.
Definitions are useful to the extent they serve a purpose. So, is defining analytics important?
Yes and no. It’s not likely that we’ll ever arrive at a conclusive definition of analytics, but discussing what is and isn’t within its realm provides cohesive boundaries; boundaries that can help analytics emerge as an academic discipline, a field of business or a career. We cogently talk about mathematics even though it covers many varied topics. Analytics hasn’t quite reached that point. Understanding its boundaries can help people considering analytics appreciate what they’re getting into. In particular, it can help companies wanting to pursue analytics understand what will work best in their business. This is especially important given that the growth of analytics is leading consultants and software vendors, many of whom don’t fully grasp what analytics can offer, to jump into the fray.

Your consulting services have been requested by the CEO of a large international corporation. The CEO is concerned about ethical issues surrounding corporate governance from a global perspective. A common example may be where a corporate board of directors breached one or more duties, such as the duty of loyalty, to its shareholders—although there are many other areas where business ethics are at the center of a case that originated at the governance level of an organization. You are asked to conduct research and analyze a case involving ethical issues surrounding corporate governance from a global position.
Briefly describe the facts of the case, the legal issue, and the decision of the court. In addition, discuss the effect of the case from a global business perspective, on society in general, and how the corporation could prevent such issues in the future. Incorporate the legal terminology from your textbook where appropriate, in both your original post and in your responses to your classmates. Use academic or legitimate news sources such as The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, and/or Fox News, for example. Please include the link or links used for your research in your post for your fellow classmates to review and to comment on

During the last couple of decades, colleges and universities have tried to increase their number of minority students by various forms of affirmative action. At Campus X, this has led to no small amount of dissension. Some students complain that the policy of accepting students with lower SAT and other scores just because of their race or minority status is unfair. Others believe that the diversity that results from such policies is good for everyone because we should learn to live together and a university campus should be a place to do this. Still, there is some question, even among members of this group, as to how well the integration is working. Furthermore, a different type of problem has recently surfaced. Because Asian Americans were represented in numbers grater than their percentage of the population, some universities were restricting the percentage of the population they would accept even when their scores were higher than others they did accept. Also, in some cases where affirmative action has been eliminated, the number of minority members accepted into certain medical and law schools has plummeted, and many people find this alarming.
Do you think that diversity ought to be a goal of campus admissions?
Or do you believe that only academic qualifications ought to count? Why?

Project #4: XML, Schema and XSLT
1. Write a complete XML file named textbooks.xml, in which you describe at least a partial list of the textbooks you are using this semester. You should include at least two distinct textbooks. If you are using only one text this semester, expand your list to cover the current academic year.
Your description of each book must include the title, author(s), publisher, year of publication, and the ISBN. For each author, specify the first and last name as distinct values. Include both a name and website for the publisher. Optionally, try also to include any book-specific website (especially if it is distinct from the main publisher site, and if its URL is not ridiculously long). Finally, specify the edition and cover type (paperback or hardcover) of each book you are using. Make sure your final XML document is well-formed.
2. Write an XML Schema that can be used to validate textbooks.xml and name it textbook.xsd . Finally, remember to modify your new XML document so that it references your schema.
3. Develop an XSL Stylesheet for easy viewing of your textbook list and name it textbook.xsl
