Ques: You are an investment analyst of a fundamental value investment. In view of the
prevailing disruptions caused by COVID-19, you are to present to the investment
committee on your quick overview of a Top-down analysis of the global economy and
then follow up with a more in depth Bottom-Up analysis on an Australian company (of
a Market Capitalisation not smaller than A$100 million) which you believe the
investment fund should over-weight in the near term (ie, in the next 6 months).

Note: could you please tell me how to approach this question this is my assignment I will be doing the second part that is The Bottom up analysis part could you please help me how should I approach it a proper outlay for this.

The Center for the Display of Visual Arts wants to know whether its parking situation is...

The Center for the Display of Visual Arts wants to know whether its parking situation is getting worse. Specifically, administrators are concerned that a lack of parking is driving away potential visitors. The administrators plan to address the situation if at least 15% of visitors feel that finding parking near the facility is a problem (the center averages about 3,100 visitors per week). To get a sense of whether this is really the case, the administrators distribute a brief exit survey to 150 individuals who visit the center over the following week. The results indicate that 32 of 150 visitors complained about being unable to find adequate parking. Present a hypothesis and null hypothesis. Calculate a t score and use it to evaluate the hypotheses. What should the administrators conclude from these results?

A Gallup poll asked a sample of Canadian adults if they thought the law should allow doctors to end the life of a patient who is in great pain and near death if the patient makes a request in writing. The poll included 295 people in Quebec, 230 of whom agreed that doctor-assisted suicide should be allowed.

(a) What is the margin of error of the large-sample 99% confidence interval for the proportion of all Quebec adults who would allow doctor-assisted suicide?

(b) How large a sample is needed to get a ±3 percentage point margin of error (this is very commonly used)?

Use the previous sample as a pilot study to get p*. (You may need four decimal places in your critical value to solve this problem.)

(a) Let us consider CH4 combustion in air with an equivalence ratio of 0.9, where we have air flow rate of 400 kg/s. (1) calculate the required flow rate of CH4 (in kg/s), the air-to-fuel ratio on mole basis, and the mole and mass fractions of CO2, H2O, O2, N2 in the product stream. (2) If reactants enter the combustion chamber at 790K, and the products are found to leave the chamber at 1900K, calculate the net heat loss from the combustion chamber. Use constant properties. For all product constituents, use properties near the average temperature of 1345K. (b) Through web search, write down the adiabatic flame temperatures for combustion in air with all reactants at STP, for methane, and hydrogen.

Describe the role(s) and functions of a project manager. Use your own personal experiences to describe why these are important. Your answer should be no shorter than three typed pages. And, you must cite information from ALL thirteen chapters of the book (even the ones we did not specifically cover in class). For example, a project manager must effectively communicate with team members (ch.1)

*I dont expect anyone to write anywhere near 3 pages for me, but if you really want to share your thoughts I wont hesitate to read it. Im more so looking for examples or others experiences and how to layout my paper incorporating all the functions and roles of a project manager*

Wendy is watching CNBC during a day in which the stock market dropped, and the flashes of red on the screen, along with the alarm bells the station keeps ringing, are driving her to near insanity. Even though her advisor reminds her that the stock market will be volatile-this is why it earns higher returns than other assets, she can’t seem to avoid the news. She is glued to the everominous (this day) “doom and gloom” advice on her TV. It is causing her angst, as well as a tendency to want to sell everything she own. 1) What behavior/bias is present? 2) Why is this behavior detrimental? 3) What could have been done differently, or what could be done differently next time to avoid this result?

The quantity of dissolved oxygen is a measure of water pollution in lakes, rivers, and streams....

The quantity of dissolved oxygen is a measure of water pollution in lakes, rivers, and streams. Water samples were taken at four different locations in a river in an effort to determine if water pollution varied from location to location. Location I was 500 meters above an industrial plant water discharge point and near the shore. Location II was 200 meters above the discharge point and in midstream. Location III was 50 meters downstream from the discharge point and near the shore. Location IV was 200 meters downstream from the discharge point and in midstream. The following table shows the results. Lower dissolved oxygen readings mean more pollution. Because of the difficulty in getting midstream samples, ecology students collecting the data had fewer of these samples. Use a 5% level of significance. Do we reject or not reject the claim that the quantity of dissolved oxygen does not vary from one location to another?

Location I Location II Location III Location IV
7.2 6.7 4.5 4.3
6.1 7.6 5.5 5.9
7.5 7.8 4.1 6.3
