The length of nylon rope from which a mountain climber is
suspended has a force constant of 1.40 104
N/m. (Hz)
(a) What is the frequency at which he bounces, given his mass plus
equipment to be 70.0 kg? (m)
(b) How much would this rope stretch to break the climber's fall,
if he free-falls 2.00 m before the rope runs out of slack?
(c) Repeat both parts of this problem in the situation where twice
this length of nylon rope is used. Bounce frequency and distance
stretched.

A batter hits a fly ball which leaves the bat 0.96 mabove the ground at an angle of 62 ∘ with an initial speed of 29 m/s heading toward centerfield. Ignore air resistance.
A)
How far from home plate would the ball land if not caught?
B)
The ball is caught by the centerfielder who, starting at a distance of 110 m from home plate, runs straight toward home plate at a constant speed and makes the catch at ground level. Find his speed.
Please explain steep by step if possible. thank you.

PLEASE DO THIS IN C#Design and implement a programming (name it NextMeeting) to determine the day of your next meeting from today. The program reads from the user an integer value representing today’s day (assume 0 for Sunday, 1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday, 3 for Wednesday, etc…) and another integer value representing the number of days to the meeting day. The program determines and prints out the meeting day. Format the outputs following the sample runs below. Sample run 1: Today is Monday Days to the meeting is 10 days Meeting day is Thursday

Question 1
a) Using graphs and explaining the mechanisms, determine the equilibrium in an open economy using the model of the market of loanable funds and foreign currency exchange. Discuss how the interest rate, r, and the exchange rate, e, are determined.
b) In the above, what happens when the government runs a budget deficit?
c) In question (a), what happens if the government decides to implement an import quota? Briefly explain why a government would implement such a trade policy.
d) Explain, using graphs, how the political instability in Mexico in 1994 lead to capital flights

A spacecraft of mass m=520 kg stationary with respect to the South Pole of the Earth runs out of fuel and starts to fall vertically toward the South Pole. If the initial altitude of the space craft is 800 km, what is the velocity of the space craft when it hits the surface of the Earth in km/s? Assume that you can ignore the atmospheric friction. Note that the universal gravitational constant G = 6.67x10-11 Nm2/kg2 , the radius of the Earth RE = 6.37x106 m, and the mass of the Earth ME = 5.97 x 1024 kg. (Hint: Conservation of energy).

MATLAB question: how do you write a video file using videowriter without displaying the current figure when doing getframe? I want to go through the data packet Xpixels x Ypixels x Zframes for each frame and write it to a video without showing the display until it's finally done. also I noticed if I turn the figure off the code runs much much slower using fig = figure(visible off). is there anyway to avoid this sluggishness? and speed it up without showing the figure?

COMPLAINT: "My blood sugars have not been very good lately. I’m doing everything I am supposed to be doing."
HISTORY: A 24-year-old male patient comes to your primary care clinic to establish care. He has type 1 diabetes mellitus diagnosed at age 11. He has not seen a provider in about 9 months. Currently, he is taking NPH insulin 30 units bid (8 a.m. and 6 p.m. with 10 units Humalog before each meal. He does not use tobacco products but does drink alcohol on the weekends. He reports checking blood glucose (BG) levels three to four times daily but did not bring his glucose log or meter. He reports his fasting blood sugar runs 150 to 190 and prandial glucose readings are 140-250. He reports hypoglycemic episodes one to two times week. He exercises intermittently but is not on a regular schedule. He does not eat on a regular schedule every day although he says he knows that he should. He works at a light-activity job 8 hours daily. His height is 5’10" and he weighs 200 pounds. His blood pressure is 128/78 mm Hg and is pulse is 76 and regular. A random fingerstick glucose is 240 and point of care A1c is 9.8. Fasting chemistry and lipid panels, thyroxine (T4) and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), and random urine for microalbumin are ordered.
ASSESSMENT:
1. Fasting BG: 203
2. Lipid profile: high-density lipoprotein 55; low-density lipoprotein 103; triglycerides 180; total cholesterol 209
3. Thyroid within normal limits
4. Creatinine 1.0; albumin 5.0
5. Microalbumin 17
Your patient is uncontrolled type 1 diabetes mellitus and borderline hyperlipidemia, with normal blood pressure and body weight.
1. How would you treat this patient?
2. What would initial instruction include?

The electron transport chain has two diffusible electron carriers, ubiquinone, which shuttles electrons to the third mitochondrial complex, and cytochrome c, which shuttles electrons to the last mitochondrial complex (see figure below). Would it be possible for cells to use only one of these two diffusible electron carriers to shuttle electrons at each of these two steps of the electron transport chain? Why or why not?
