Hello for a laboratory experiment we used strain gauges to measure the internal pressure of a coke can. Our instructor told us one of the sources of error would be not aligning the gauges perfectly. Why would this cause error in the experiment? Is there any other sources of error as well.

Assume that a new intervention has been developed using a new approach to social skills training to help individuals with Asperger’s syndrome. How would you design an experiment to test the intervention? Consider the type of experiment, exposure, measurement, ordering, assignment to condition, and comparison groups.

Give an example of an experiment to determine the focal length of a concave lens.
(Note that such a lens cannot project a real image onto a screen by itself, so you will need to use a two-lens system). List all materials use and describe how/why the experiment works.

When switch S in the figure is open, the voltmeter V of the battery reads 3.08 V. When the switch is closed, the voltmeter reading drops to 2.98 V, and the ammeter A reads1.64 A. Assume that the two meters are ideal, so they don't affect the circuit.
a) Find the emf.
b) Find the internal resistance of the battery
c) Find the circuit resistance R.

True/False Question: If sppan{u,v}=W where u not equal to v. Then dim(W)=2.
Answer: False
Reasoning let u=1, v=2 then span(1,2}=R but dim(R)=1 not 2.
I know the answer is false. please tell me whether my reasoning is correct.
